ETC. Magazine Club is pleased to extend a warm invitation to all Taylorians, and anyone else interested in the world of publication, to the first of our Speaker Sessions, to be held this Saturday, 27 September, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus.
This session, which will be hosting personalities such as Rubin Khoo, Managing Editor of August Man, and Anna Taing, Managing Editor of The Edge, will provide students aspiring to work in the publication field the opportunity to get a taste of what it’s like to work behind the scenes for big-name periodicals. This is a rare chance to hear straight from the aficionados of the industry what goes into running a successful magazine – from the writers’ tables to the editors’ desks, from the designers’ screens to the shelves of bookstores and stores country-wide.
