Poetry: THE WORDS A MOTHER WANTS TO HEAR.

1

[By LEON LAM]

Healing and nurturing me till I come out even,

Always getting you mad for no goddamn reason,

Hoping that one day you think I’ll listen,

You kept bugging me even though I said no,

Being all naggy as if tempting me to be a foe,

But after all that I never looked back, so here goes…

I’m sorry for the times that I did those oopsy,

Ignoring you all this time like it’s no biggy,

Because deep down inside, I love you Mommy!
